Antique St. Christopher "The Gentle Giant in The River" Pendant | Maya Walker Jewels

This beautiful antique medal represents St. Christopher and the iconic image "The Gentle Giant In The River". He was consulted by a wise old man that suggested he should use his strength to help people cross the dangerous river (where many lost their lives). Christopher thought providing this service would be pleasing to Christ. Christopher was eagerly preforming this task when a child asked for help to cross the river. As Christopher carried him on his shoulder, the child got heavier and heavier. When they got to the other side of the riverbank, Christopher asked the Child who he was. It turns out the child was Christ himself. This medal is set in a Rhodium sterling silver and Diamond 0.48 tcw bezel with a bale that has a 4mm opening.
